The cancer-care team at MetroWest Physician Services is dedicated to the delivery of comprehensive therapy and support services for cancer patients and their families. Our practitioners and professionals work closely with you through each step in the process, ensuring that you are provided with both information and support before, after and beyond each treatment or procedure. Medical oncology focuses on treating cancer with chemical agents that destroy cancer cells. It also provides treatment to the body to help it defend itself against further disease. Our program strives to provide the most advanced treatments and therapies by continually researching and exploring new and better modalities. Balanced with a team of caring, understanding professionals, our cancer-care program forms a network of state-of-the-art treatment and compassionate support for each patient in our care. The experienced Hematology/Oncology professionals at our Cancer-Care Center provide a full range of treatment and services, including screening, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up. We also have specialists on staff who provide counseling and support for patients and family members. In addition, they can prescribe lifestyle and nutrition advice to ease the challenges that may result from treatment. Our Hematology/Oncology team offers two locations in Framingham and Natick to make it convenient for patients to receive their care.
