Polina Paskaleva, DO
Polina Paskaleva, DO brings a variety of prior medical experience and clinical care to her work in Family Medicine at MetroWest Physician Services. She received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. Dr. Paskaleva also earned a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, from Boston University. Prior to medical school, she performed basic medical research at Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center and her work has been published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation and the Journal of Biological Chemistry.
Dr. Paskaleva has worked at Westchester General Hospital as well as MD NOW Urgent Care Centers during her residency training. She brings clinical expertise from a variety of experiences at Kendal Medical Plaza Clinic, Fox Medical Plaza Clinic and Westchester Health Center. Dr. Paskaleva's rotations in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, OB-GYN, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Geriatrics, and Emergency Medicine allow her to bring a wealth of knowledge to the services she provides her patients.
Dr. Paskaleva has a strong foundation in Family Medicine and has developed a strong sense of purpose that is carried over to each patient encounter. She is passionate about educating patients about how they can have a positive impact on their health outcomes. Dr. Paskaleva creates an environment of comfort and safety for her patients to feel welcome and supported. “Healthcare should be a partnership between the provider and patient. Best outcomes are achieved by working together, including the goal of having the best quality of life possible that every patient deserves during the care planning process. I feel that I am part of that process, along with input from the patient and their families so we may work together and develop the best plan possible”.
